Erik Formoe, a Norwegian artist hailing from Fredrikstad, ignited his passion for art during childhood Bible study sessions, where sketching became his refuge. Throughout the 1970s, a time devoid of many modern-day distractions, he devoted himself to mastering the meticulous techniques of Renaissance art. Erik's unique style, a fusion of precise Renaissance compositions and vibrant Impressionist palettes, often features portraits with a touch of mystery. At 70, still deeply connected to his roots, Erik still paints to bring joy through his work.
